Elephant Man held on rape charges./Vybz Kartel The White Kingston Clown.

Dancehall artiste Oneil Bryan, more popularly known as Elephant Man has been charged with rape and grevious assault.

According to reports, Elephant Man is now being questioned by Detectives attached to the Centre for Investgation of Sexual Offences and child abuse (CISOCA). Detectives from CISOCA stated that the DJ was being questioned in relation to a number of sexual-based allegations.

 

So far, the Police have stated that the can provide no further details on this case as investigations are still ungoing. This is not Elephant Man's first run-in with the law. He was arrested last year for electricity theft!

Vybz Kartel label as “The White Clown of Kingston”

These days when you think of bleaching, Vybz Kartel is among the first persons that comes to mind.
In a publications that addresses the growing trend of skin bleaching in Jamaica, French News Agency Lemonde describe the Worl’Boss as the “white clown of Kingston.”
In their publication, the newspaper singled out Vybz Kartel as the reason for the explosion of the bleaching epidemic in Jamaica.



The whitening of the skin was already an epidemic in Jamaica for ten years. But the influence of Vybz Kartel has accelerated the trend. It made ??it even more cool,” Lemonde writer Arnaud Robert wrote.
“By expanding his legend of a thug judicial legitimacy, Vybz Kartel has become what he always claimed to be: a scarecrow which an entire country can not detach his eyes,” writer Arnaud Robert added.

An anonymous bleacher in Kingston told Robert that she bleach her skin for style and it attracts boys more.

Vybz Kartel, who made international headlines last year, is current behind bars awaiting trial on a double murder charge. His next court date is February 2nd.

VYBZ KARTEL/NEWS/Possible dismissal for police accused of security breach involving Vybz Kartel 2012

The policemen currently under investigation for corruption after being accused of a prison security breach involving entertainer Vybz Kartel are now facing dismissal from the Jamaica Constabulary Force, JCF.
It’s alleged that the cops were caught on camera giving a visitor unauthorized access to the artiste who is charged with murder.
The policemen, who were assigned to the Gun Court Remand Centre, were transferred last November.
Commissioner of Police, Owen Ellington, says files are now being prepared for submission to the Police Service Commission which will determine their future in the Force..

Andre ‘Pim Pim’ Henry was given $200,000 bail with surety in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court when he appeared to answer charges of conspiring to pervert the course of justice. He is jointly charged with Adidja Palmer a.k.a Vybz Kartel and Vanessa Saddler a.k.a Gaza Slim.
As a strict condition of his bail, Henry was ordered to surrender his travel documents and a stop order was put in effect. He has also been ordered to report to the Constant Spring police station on Mondays and Thursdays between 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Kartel has been in jail since October 3 when he was arrested and charged in connection with the July 12 murder of Barrington ‘Bossie’ Burton, a 27-year-old businessman/promoter of a Gregory Park address in St Catherine. Burton was reportedly killed while standing with friends along Walker’s Avenue in Gregory Park.
Kartel, who has made multiple appearances in the Gun Court Division of the court, is also charged with conspiracy to murder, conspiracy to pervert the course of justice, attempting to pervert the course of justice and illegal possession of a firearm.
